Tactile Books (2023)

Three ‘Tactile Books’ created for the Young Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Each interprets an object from their collection which sits behind glass into tactile experience. They particularly seek to include visitors who have a more sensory experience of the world. The form of a book intends to give equal significance to tactile and linguistic learning, in an area of the museum all about the alphabet. The contents and sensory experiences were developed through workshops with local special needs schools in East London during 2023.
